I’m Johnny Mitchell, founder of Curated Wedding Films. After spending years honing my filmmaking skills in the commercial world, I shot my first wedding for a friend in 2021 and Curated Wedding Films was born. You’ll still find me behind the camera, but also work with a small team of select freelancers to help bring each film to life. I am based in Vox Studios London, but am always happy to travel, and have been to so many incredible locations with my work.

My goal is to create a film that feels candid and authentic, so I always shoot as discretely as possible, don’t do anything too posed, and always focus on capturing the real moments of happiness and joy throughout the day. Think of me as an additional guest with a camera! I arrive in the morning to capture shots of the venue and everyone getting ready, and always stay until the party to get all the very best dad dancing on camera.
